Did you know?

Deer are browsers, not just grazers. One of our herd’s favorite treats is fresh-cut sycamore saplings from our woods. The tender leaves and shoots provide natural enrichment and let our deer feed the way they would in the wild.

Here at Hoosier Deer Park, we try to provide as much natural forage as possible from our own property.

🦌🏡 Welcome to the Nursery 🏡🦌

Hidden among the trees is one of the most important places at Hoosier Deer Park—our fawn nursery. Each little one has their own stall where they receive around-the-clock care, bottle feedings, and plenty of love while they grow stronger each day.

This quiet corner of the farm is where lifelong memories begin, both for our fawns and for the visitors who come to meet them.

We’re currently caring for several babies, with more expected soon. Every day brings new milestones, new personalities, and lots of excitement!

❤️ It takes a lot of time, dedication, and teamwork, but seeing these little fawns thrive makes it all worthwhile.

“The nursery may be simple, but the memories made here last a lifetime.” 🦌💕

🦌 BIG NEWS FROM THE FARM 🦌

We are excited to officially begin transitioning from Kamradt Deer Farm to The Hoosier Deer Park!

While the name is changing, the heart behind everything remains the same — our love for whitetail deer, nature, education, and creating unforgettable experiences for families and visitors.

Over the years, what started as a family deer farm has grown into something much bigger: a place where people come to connect with nature, interact with deer up close, learn, relax, and make lifelong memories.

The new name better reflects the vision for the future as we continue expanding experiences, improving the park, and welcoming visitors from all over Indiana and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. We can’t wait to continue growing together as…

Every visit to The Hoosier Deer Park is more than just seeing deer — it’s about slowing down, connecting with nature, and creating memories you’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone who comes out and supports what we do!”

🦌 Nature’s Perfect Hiding Spot 🦌

While walking through the deer park today, we stumbled upon this tiny little treasure tucked safely between the roots of an old tree. ❤️

A fawn’s spots and natural instinct to stay perfectly still help it disappear into its surroundings. Mom knows exactly where her baby is and will return throughout the day to nurse and check on it. Until then, this little one waits patiently, trusting nature’s design.

Moments like these remind us just how amazing God’s creation really is.

Conner 6/3/26. Growing antlers

🦌 Velvet Season is in Full Swing! 🦌

This handsome young buck is growing an impressive set of antlers, covered in soft velvet and packed with blood vessels that fuel rapid antler growth. Every day brings noticeable changes, and it’s amazing to watch nature at work!

At Hoosier Deer Park, we love sharing these up-close moments and helping visitors learn more about these incredible animals.

What do you think this buck will score when he’s finished growing? 👀
