Dogs (1 year and older): $40
Puppies (less than one 1 year): $80
Cats/Kittens: $20

All animals that are not already spayed/neutered, will need to be within 30 days of adoption per VA state law, at the adopter's expense. Puppies and kittens will be extended until 6 months of age.

Say hello to Luther, our 6-month-old mixed breed pup who is ready to wiggle his way into your heart! 🐾 This sweet boy is fully vaccinated, altered, and ready for his forever family.

💬 “Luther AKA Woofers! What this boy lacks in common sense he makes up for in book smarts! He’s a quick learner when learning commands but will 100% trip over air while doing it! He loves water, other dogs/cats (will still need a reminder to not paw them occasionally), he has yet to master the art of walking with his lanky legs, he’s just a big goofy lovable boy! He’s crate trained and his potty training is coming along great! He has food manners and knows his basic obedience commands! He is medium/high energy and would thrive in a home with another dog friend to play with!”

Recently, we reached out asking for help for our shelter pets… and our community showed up in the biggest way possible. You went above and beyond to answer the call, and because of YOU, our animals will have the food, comfort, and supplies they need.

Every bag of food, every blanket, every toy, every dollar—it all adds up to hope for the dogs and cats waiting for their second chance. We are absolutely blown away by your generosity and kindness.

We couldn’t do this without you. Our shelter is strong because of the people who care so deeply for the pets who need us most.

This is Axle. He’s one of our sweetest boys and he is standing in front of the very last bit of dog food we have left. By tomorrow, those bags will be gone.

Both adult kibble and puppy food are needed, especially for dogs like Axle, who came in painfully thin and still working on gaining healthy weight.

Most Needed Right Now:
• Adult dry dog food
• Puppy food (dry and canned)
• Bonus needs: pill pockets + bleach
