Due to the 'charming' weather we are having, we will be temporarily changing our hours.
We will be closing early at 6pm daily and will be closed Wednesdays and Sundays.
We'll be revising these times come May.
I hope you all understand our need for this change.

A BIG THANK YOU to the Belmont County Animal Shelter for visiting us yesterday. 🥰
The Shelter volunteers joined us with three or of their beautiful pets, who are all eagerly awaiting a forever home.
Jet is a year old, female lab mix and extremely friendly and loving. She spent most of the day lounging on our plush carpet, wolfing down treats and soaking up the attention.
The kittens, Miracle (female tabby) and Tuxedo (male), were rather rude, sleeping the entire visit. Typical cattitude. 😅
I had the privilege of cuddling Tux for a while and oh boy, I almost lost control and forgot my vow not to adopt any more cats (I have four).
If you’re looking to adopt, now is a great time. The Belmont County Animal Shelter is filled to capacity with cats and dogs desperate to find their forever humans.
Adoption is a straightforward process involving filling out an adoption form and a small fee which also covers the spay / neuter procedures. You can find the adoption form online here (hint, hint):

If adoption isn’t in the cards for you, we also have a big tote in the store for Christmas gifts for the Belmont County Shelter pets. Toys, blankets, treats, cash, anything and everything is greatly appreciated!

Heads up, everyone!

November 28th is Martins Ferry’s annual Christmas Parade and to mark the occasion we’re partnering with the Belmont County Animal Shelter to add some ‘woof’ to the celebration.

Some of the shelters most loving pets will be ready to greet you enthusiastically between 12pm and 2pm outside our store. Please remember, they’re all hoping their forever home is only a sniff away, so if you’ve been thinking about expanding your family, now may be your chance.💖

The fun doesn’t stop there, as we’ve also set up a little Christmas photo op inside the store. I’ll be ready to take Polaroid pics of anyone interested in striking a pose (fun glue on frames included). 😊

We have four special kennels in stock. They were donated to us and we plan to return the favor!

We are selling these kennels for donation purposes only. They are used, in nice condition, good quality, and great for smaller pets. 🥰

100% OF THE PROCEEDS WILL BE EVENLY DONATED TO LOVED STRAYT AND THE BELMONT COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER.

The kennels are collapsible and come with a handle for carrying.

The small kennel measures 22" x 13" x 16" and the medium-sized one 23.5" x 17" x 19".

We have priced the kennels at $15 for the small and $22 for the medium.

If you’re in need of a kennel, now is a great time to get what you need and spread some love at the same time. ❤️
