Big shoutout to our amazing friends at Humane Society Silicon Valley for welcoming some of our cats into their care last month!

Partnerships like this make all the difference. When shelters and rescues work together, we can reduce overcrowding and ensure every pet gets the love and care they need on their journey to finding forever homes 🐱💜

We’re so grateful for our friends in animal welfare who step in, lift up, and walk alongside us in this mission to give every animal a second chance.

A parked car can turn deadly in minutes. On a warm day, the temperature inside a vehicle can rise nearly 20 degrees in just 10 minutes — even with the windows cracked. For animals, this can quickly lead to heatstroke, organ failure, and death.

🚨 If you see an animal locked in a hot car:
-Record the vehicle’s make, model, and license plate
-Alert the business management immediately
-Call Contra Costa Animal Services for help at 925-608-8400
-Stay with the animal until assistance arrives

🐶⭐ Foster Spotlight: meet 4-month-old Mr. Bigglesworth!

With time and care in his foster home, Mr. Bigglesworth has begun to heal after being found malnourished and suffering from Demodex (skin condition). The weight is coming back on, his fur is returning, and with each day, his spirit shines stronger. Despite the hardships he's endured, Mr. Bigglesworth greets the world with renewed excitement and curiosity.

According to his foster, he's gentle to all - people, children, infants, other dogs - and greets them with tail wags, a wide smile and body wiggles. We recommend slow, thoughtful introductions with any new pets or people to help ensure a smooth and positive transition.

He cuddles and plays with his two foster siblings. He hasn't had any accidents if given potty breaks 4-5 times a day. He sleeps in his crate overnight and is nondestructive when left alone with his siblings.

Mr. Bigglesworth is looking for a forever home that will cherish his spirit, nurture his needs and help him grow up to be a good boy. He is ready for the next chapter: one filled with warmth, care, and a family to call his own!

If you're interested in meeting him, fill out an adoption application: https://24Petconnect.com/DetailsMain/CCST/A1036834

Adoptions are free, but a $25 licensing fee may apply. Stop by Tuesday–Saturday from 10am–5pm (open until 7pm on Wednesdays).
