Anna needs Doggles to protect her eyes, and she's rocking out her cooperative care. We hold the glasses still, and she moves her eyes into them. She's especially a fan of practicing duration with peanut butter. You may notice my inability to stop laughing and focus on training here, but can you blame me? Anna's the only dog I know who makes her face messier when she tries to lick the PB off her nose! Thanks, Anna, for being such a good student, and for reminding us all to have fun. Good girl!

It's World Art Day, and to celebrate I want to point you to a recent dog (and cat) centric comic mini series, Man's Best, written by Pornsak Pichetshote, art by Jesse Lonergan & Letters by Jeff Powell. The trade paperback of the complete series is already out, so no waiting for the monthly singles needed (one lucky current client can even ask to borrow the issues).

Before we wrap up our month of muzzle fun, I want to help bridge the gap between the "Yay muzzle" step and the duration/strap steps. Here's a brief overview of the process. As with each other step, how much to break down each component, as well as the time spent on each will vary from dog to dog.
