Say hello to Penelope!
Penelope had a bit of a rough start in life, but thanks to Humane Society Silicon Valley and her new mom, she's thriving! I get the pleasure of getting to know Penelope on camera during our Confidence Builders Academy sessions, and it seems every week Penelope's getting braver. Mom's proudest moment was when she finally walked down their stairs for the first time. It seems she's learned they're the fastest way to get to see squirrels on her walks. Good girl, Penelope!

Say hi to Nala!
Nala is a true adventure dog who has lived in more states than her age in years. She especially loves going on sniffaris and rock climbing. Her human's proudest moment was when Nala "was able to keep focus and have a calm enjoyable picnic at a busy apple orchard with other humans AND dogs around!" Good girl, Nala!

Say hello to Confidence Builders Academy student Luna! She loves beach time, and now she's learning to trust the car ride that gets her there a little more. Good girl, Luna!

Anna needs Doggles to protect her eyes, and she's rocking out her cooperative care. We hold the glasses still, and she moves her eyes into them. She's especially a fan of practicing duration with peanut butter. You may notice my inability to stop laughing and focus on training here, but can you blame me? Anna's the only dog I know who makes her face messier when she tries to lick the PB off her nose! Thanks, Anna, for being such a good student, and for reminding us all to have fun. Good girl!

Say Hello to Mochi! She's a compact fluffball of a husky who loves the great outdoors. She loves training time, and has taken to learning her new cues like a champ. Good girl, Mochi!

Confidence Builders Academy, our special program for shy and fearful dogs is 4 years old! CBA graduate Hank is one year older than CBA, so he's always got a photo on hand to help us celebrate.
