I have been meaning to make this post for a while now, but I am no longer taking in any new clients. This will also include those that I have not groomed in over 4-6 months. Please note that I only groom on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. I work at a vet clinic on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I physically cannot take on anything else. I am currently booking out about 6-8 wks. depending on the groom and averaging 5-7 dogs each day. I apologize for any inconvenience, here is a list of some local groomers

I don’t know what it is about Shih Tzus, but they literally live for forever 😂❤️. As your pet gets older, the quality of the groom becomes unimportant. The goal is to make them comfortable-which can be so hard to do. Sometimes you mentally get stuck trying to make them look good because that’s what people (and yourself) judge your work based on, but what helps me TREMENDOUSLY is having some good clients who understand that comfort is the most important- in all dogs of all ages, but especially in seniors. One of the hardest things about grooming is watching them change. ❤️
