We got a win and a fourth tonight! Woohoo.

Chilita Especial broke a touch slow but quickly took the lead and held it the rest of the way!

We hand opened a couple of babies out of the gates yesterday and they did great! My trainer, Johnny Hernandez, does an amazing job breaking babies!!

This big, handsome guy is “Chilitos Grande”, by Chilitos. He is showing a ton of class and potential and we are super impressed with him. Owner is Randy Hughes.

We are keeping Tex’s 2025 stud fee the same as last year, at $1750 and that includes the first shipment of cooled semen!!

His first “Texas” foal crop is amazing!! Come on over for a visit and check them out!!

Furrbidden Love finished the year for us on another win and earned a 92 si!! Congratulations to her owner, Randy Hughes, on his nice homebred filly!! And congratulations to Johnny Hernandez, my trainer, for all of his hard work with her! Furrbidden had 3 wins this year for us!! Woohoo!!

Furrbiddenlove finally got herself a win last night! Woohoo! While loading in the gates, the 5 horse (next to her) broke through the gates and Furrbiddenlove thought the race started so she went too, but thankfully our jockey stayed on and was able to pull her up. The 5 was scratched. They reloaded and she stood good, then broke on top and stayed there the whole race!

Thank you to our jockey, Luis Vivanco, for giving her a good ride. And congratulations to her owner, Randy Hughes, for getting a win with his homebred filly that is by his own stallion and out of his own mare. It’s always that much sweeter when you bred and raised them!!
