It is with a heavy heart that I make this post. We have made the very difficult decision that it is time to close our riding lesson facility, Winter Stables, as of February 1, 2025. There is alot I want to say, but won't. Those that own a farm know how magical and completely heart breaking it can be..... all in the same day sometimes.
What I will say is that we have made some amazing friendships along the way through this place. Friendships that we will continue and always cherish!!! Friendships that will last a lifetime! Friends that have become our family! We are blessed to have known ALL the riders that have passed through these doors. We have accomplished more than I ever dreamed possible when we started this place years ago with the help of so many. Yes, there have been extremely hard times, but there were some amazingly unforgettable times as well!
I am so thankful for my family who has stuck by me through blood, sweat, laughter, tears, financial hardships, celebrations, and sometimes threats of disownment from each other. This was a 100% family journey! None of this would have EVER been possible without each and every one of them!
We are heartbroken that this chapter in our lives is closing, but at this time we are choosing to do what is best for our family. We look forward to what the future holds as the old saying goes.... Nobody ever knows what will happen "when one door closes, another one opens....".
We will are look forward to cheering on all of our riders in their new competition barns and/or new disciplines. This is not goodbye by any means....we will still be cheering just as loud as ever!!!! ❤️❤️
