Spring is here!! Unfortunately, that brought the ticks with it. Last year it was difficult keeping the ticks at bay. So I started my research early for any new products out there and wanted to share this one I found.

Tickless. It's a chemical free ultrasonic device to help repel flea and tick. So the pests don't even bite the dog.

I have not tried it yet. I will use it in conjunction with my regular monthly flea and tick treatment and see how it goes. Hopefully no ticks will get on them at all!

About House of Mongrels and its groomer, Rebecca Reckling.

House of Mongrels is a home-based grooming salon serving the Webster county area. I am by appointment only and located in a rural area. Every dog gets the well deserved time needed for grooming in a peaceful salon without the hustle of bustle of the city. There is no rushing a groom, I groom each dog at their pace for their comfort. Each groom is specific to you and your pets needs and wants.

In 2011, I graduated from College of the Ozarks with a Bachelor of Science my emphasis in animal science and agribusiness. In 2015, I graduated with honors from Animal Behavior College for grooming in El Paso Tx, where I was hired at a local shop and then moved to a Corporate salon until my return to Missouri.

Continuing education is important to me to provide the best service and education possible to my customers. Therefore, I attend trade shows, seminars, workshops from the industry’s leading professionals. And I am always seeking further information through magazines, blogs, and videos.
