Thank you for supporting our fundraising efforts to maintain and improve the Marshfield Dog Park. Special thanks to Becky and Grace from Fluffed Up mobile grooming for donating their time and talent to help our nonprofit.

Our volunteers appreciate everyone who came to our nail trim fundraiser. We had 12 dogs participate today. With Fluffed Up donating $10 from each dog to our nonprofit, this raised $60. We appreciate the generosity of our local pet parent community. We also had $97 in cash donations plus a generous $50 Venmo donation from Steven M. Today’s nail trim event raised $207. This will almost cover the cost of the three visits from our professional pet waste removal service for one week. Thank you for helping us keep the park clean.

Becky, the owner of Fluffed Up mobile grooming donates the remaining $10 from each dog to the Friends of the Marshfield, MA Animal Shelter, Inc.. We highly recommend Fluffed Up mobile grooming. They bring a luxurious one on one grooming experience directly to your driveway. Our nail trim fundraisers are a great opportunity for you and your pup to meet Becky and Grace and see their state of the art mobile grooming vehicle. They a fantastic job with the dogs, even the anxious ones. Visit their website to learn more.

We are looking for volunteers to help us stake the remaining 12 trees. Our next volunteer work party will be Saturday, June 20th starting at 11am. We could really use a few strong friends to hit the stakes into the ground with mallets.

Thank you for supporting our nonprofit and our efforts to maintain and improve the Marshfield Dog Park.

We staked the first grouping of trees. The pool noodles are covering the rope and metal stakes so people don’t trip over them. We are looking for volunteers to help us stake the remaining 12 trees. Our next volunteer work party will be Saturday, June 20th starting at 11am. We could really use a few strong friends to hit the stakes into the ground with mallets.

We appreciate James for helping our volunteers stake trees in place yesterday. Special thanks to Cecilia for teaching our volunteers how to properly secure the trees for optimal growth.

We appreciate the support of our monthly doggie birthday fence sign calendar fundraiser. Thank you for helping our nonprofit raise funds to maintain and improve the park. Raising money to keep the park clean and safe is our priority. We recently invested in trees for shade and, construction has begun on our permanent shade structures. Special thanks to our local gardening expert, Cecilia Calbimonte-Delgadillo for helping our nonprofit. Cecilia helped our volunteers select the best tree options for our space and created a plan for planting them. The taller ones are maple trees and, the shorter ones are dogwood trees. Both with grow with time. We’re so excited to finally have trees at the park, this has been years in the making.

Cecilia is part of the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association. This fellow nonprofit organization works to share research-based horticultural knowledge and experience with the public.

We plan on adding additional grasses around each grouping of trees as well as an irrigation system. Our volunteers appreciate the continued support from the community in helping our volunteers raise funds to maintain and improve the Marshfield Dog Park.

Our volunteers appreciate the continued support from Nick Johnson, owner of JLS Land Services. Nick recently donated more wood chips. He has been donating wood chips since the park was built in 2023. Nick also donated his time and labor to help our volunteers fix the potholes in the driveway.

If you’re looking for tree removal or excavation work, we highly recommend Nick. This is a veteran owned and operated business.
