Peach County Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation

Peach County Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Non-breed specific 501(c)(3) licensed canine rescue out of Peach County, GA. ❗️We are closing down!💔 Non-breed specific licensed 501c3 animal rescue.

We work hard at finding forever homes for the dogs that are neglected, dumped, or surrendered. All of our dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. Please do not contact our veterinarian or any other affiliate to expedite the process. Adoption applications are processed by staff and volunteers. Applications are processed within 5-7 working days. Our adoption fees range from $250-$3

50+ (it is not a flat rate). Although our rescue dogs share a common bond with one another, no rescue story is the same (even when similar). Vetting costs vary depending on their health conditions. In addition, we have a professional dog trainer/animal behaviorist on staff who invests countless hours ensuring our dogs are ready for adoption, pre-trained and/or behaviorally modified. Our calculations show, that if you included the 1st year of vetting, training, the cost of a purchased dog; your costs would exceed $500+ dollars for initial investment. For us, it is NEVER about the money. We are a NON-PROFIT. It is all about the well-being of the dog. If you can't make the initial investment and appreciate the value of one of our dogs...then we can't ensure that you are committed to the pet for it's LIFETIME and will give them to best quality of life. At the end of the day, we hope everyone can appreciate that our efforts, time and commitment is solely in the best interest of our beloved dogs to ensure they are NEVER FAILED again. "URGENT: Muse, a playful and affectionate Doberman mix, is facing euthanasia at the shelter and desperately needs a home! This one-year-old, 36-pound boy is full of life and friendliness, eager to make new friends and explore the world. He's excitable, meaning he's always ready for playtime and can be a bit jumpy initially, but quickly settles down with positive reinforcement and direction. Like many young dogs, Muse would benefit from basic obedience training to channel his energy into positive behavior. Sadly, Muse is at the shelter with limited space, putting him at risk. He desperately needs a rescue organization or a loving adopter to step forward and offer him a forever home or even a foster home. If adopted, Muse will be fully vetted, including being microchipped, and adoption fees will be waived to approved adopters. Time is of the essence to save this sweet boy and give him the chance he deserves to experience a happy and fulfilling life!"

**Update - reunited with his owner!!*(

Meet Cooper, a Purebred Cocker Spanial. Super friendly. Adores all dogs/people/children. Has a ton of energy. He is housetrained and walks well on a leash.

He needs a very active home where he can run and wear himself out! Preferable with another active dog. He is not a good candidate for someone that will crate him half the day. He has anxiety and wants to be free, with people and dogs.

He is very, very friendly, very sweet, gentle, but does jump up on people (and dogs - he loves to play).

Adoption fee $500 (includes parvo/distemper, bordetella, rabies, neuter, worming, flea meds, Heartguard and a microchip).

We still need homes for these furbabies!!!!

Hi y’all! We still have pups needing homes. We will house them until we can find places for them to go, but we’d love to get some of them adopted! 🥺

Yes you may see some familiar faces, sometimes things don’t work out and that’s ok. Our top priority is finding forever families for our fur babies.

Thank you for all of your continued support! 🩷
