Lexi is a 9 yr old retired female looking for a retirement home. She is crate trained, basic obedience trained as has some hunting training. She’s good with all other dogs, particularly loves young dogs and great with kids. She cannot be in a home with cats. Please PM for more details.

I’ve been thinking about this post for at least a year if I’m being honest. I’ve been completely fighting against it for months. In the last few weeks I have come to the conclusion it is absolutely necessary. In the coming weeks we will be permanently closing Triple B Kennel. We have a few dogs that we need to place in homes so that my family can enjoy the remaining dogs as much loved pets. Your help in accomplishing this would be greatly appreciated. I don’t know one good, reputable breeder who hasn’t either downsized or shut their doors in the last year. More are coming. The economy is hard and puppies are not selling. At all. I took a full time job about 7 months ago to try to ride this out. But things have gotten worse to the point that my job is now much more beneficial to our families finances than the kennel, and the kennel has become a distraction. Add to that the increasing number of diseases, parasites and viruses that no amount of money, blood, sweat or tears can fight off and I have lost all will to continue. My heart is officially not in this, and you cannot do this without heart. We have been breeding for almost 16 years. We have truly enjoyed loving the puppies and their families. But now it’s time for us to love the dogs we have left and our family. I haven’t decided if I will get rid of the page yet, so if you aren’t already my Facebook friend, and want to stay in touch, send me a friend request. We have loved each and every one of you and appreciate you, but now we must say goodbye…..
