Acadiana West Animal Clinic is a full facility veterinary hospital. Our philosophy at Acadiana West is pets first, but we never forget there is an entire family that comes with that pet. We are so proud to celebrate Gabby on completing part of her veterinary technician externship from Delgado Community College here at Acadiana West Animal Clinic! 🩺🐾

Over the past several weeks, Gabby worked alongside Dr. Rought, Dr. Belair and our team, gaining hands-on experience and continuing to grow her knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine. It has been a pleasure watching her learn, ask questions, and develop into a future veterinary professional.

🐶❤️ Dozer came in for his very first visit with us, and let's just say... he took his job as Mom's bodyguard very seriously. 💪😂

A week later, his sweet mom surprised our team with delicious cookies to apologize, but honestly... there was never a need. ❤️

We know vet visits can be scary, especially for first timers. Our team is trained to handle nervous, fearful, and protective pets with patience, understanding, and compassion. It's all part of what we do, and we're just happy we get to help your furry family members feel safe.
