In addition,TLC board is available for older, out of service or retired horses. Swallow Stables in Marlboro, VT is a boarding facility that offers 10x12 and 12x12 matted stalls, daily turn out in small groups, an outdoor arena and access to trails. Each horse receives feed of quality hay and grain and the care and attention from the stable owner living on the premises. Our peaceful environment is the perfect setting for a relaxed equine.

The swallows have built a nest in the hay barn. They guard it fiercely. This afternoon they practiced strafing runs on the poor silly hens. The hens reacted with squawk/flap/screech/panic!!! I think the hens saw the swallows as small hawks and scattered and flew in all directions.
Later, they had dust baths.

It has rained off and on here all day. The horses went to their turnout late this morning. The day hasn't been that cold, considering that it's October; nevertheless, they were happy to come in early and get snug in their stalls.
