We hope you and your doggie friends are weathering these crazy hot temps well!

Thankfully, the weather is supposed to cool down by next weekend, just in time for our next Fit Dog Walk! Our Director of Fun, Mark Mierkowski, has planned our next walk for Sunday, August 2nd at 9am at Dogwood Canyon Nature Park for their Dog Days of Summer.

For Dog Days, they will have live entertainment, local vendors and special giveaways. Free doggy gift bags to the first 100 guests.

50% off one admission ticket if you bring your dog!

Wear your GRCO gear!

Address: 2038 W. State Highway 86 in Lampe.

We want to encourage those attending to be responsible dog owners and great representatives of the club :). Don't forget your p**p bags, and remind your pup to exhibit their best manners.

This event is open to all breeds and you do not need to be a GRCO member to attend. We love making new friends!

A big thank you to all who contributed to our fundraising efforts for Rescue One. With less than a week to get it organized, we still collected close to $500 in cash and supplies!

A big thank you to the Golden Retriever Club of the Ozarks for their generous donation drive benefiting Rescue One!

Their members collected $200 in cash, along with cat food, dog food, cat litter, toys, and treats for the animals in our care. We are so grateful for your support and for helping us make a difference for pets in need.

ATTENTION FAST CAT COMPETITORS:

Rescue One is dangerously low on many of their supplies, so GRCO is hosting a fundraiser during our Fast Cat.

Raffle ticket donations for the Ryobi fan and charging kit are:

* 1 ticket for every $10 donation
* 4 tickets for a large bag of dog or cat food (Purina One preferred)
* 2 tickets for a donation of kitty litter or a smaller bag of food

For the 50/50 raffle:

* 1 ticket for every $10 donation

Rescue One is also currently in need of:

* Canned cat and kitten food
* Dog treats
* Puppy collars
* 36 and 42 inch crates

We appreciate any donations you are able to bring to help support the rescue and the animals in their care. We will transport all items and deliver funds to Rescue One the week following our event.

Winners do not need to be present at the time of the drawings. If you are not there when the raffle is drawn, we will contact you and make arrangements to get your prize to you.

We appreciate what Rescued One does for our community, and now it’s our turn to support them.
