Today is National Pitbull Awareness day. "Pit bull" is an umbrella term rather than a single breed. It commonly includes breeds like the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. They are the highest ranked breed found in shelters...If you've not ever owned a bully breed you are missing out on the snuggliest of dogs!
