Unfortunately Mort was not strong enough and passed away a few minutes ago. I will be saving up to preserve him for a memorial if anyone wants to donate to that. Thank you to everyone that prayed and thought about him ❤️

Mort has made it through the night and still is about the same. He’s still peeing a lot and passing stool so he is digesting. We have officially hit day 7 with him. The sleepless nights and stress is definitely worth it for this sweet boy.

Sleeping in the hard floor next to Mort with my alarm set for every hour to check on him. It’s gonna be a long night. Then waking up at 5:30am for work and working 6:15am-around 5pm tomorrow 😬

Little worried about Mort; his gum color just seems a little off to me (which could mean he does have a heart defect that we were worried about after researching other no-nose puppies). I hope I’m just worrying over nothing and he’s fine but with these guys you always have to stay on your toes. He’s still moving around, keeping warm and dreaming a lot so he’s not struggling. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers please.

Scarlett and Skye have reached 7 weeks old (8 weeks on Wednesday) It doesn’t seem possible that they’re already that old! They’ll be finishing their shots soon and heading out to their new homes before I know it 😭
