With sorrow, Day One Animal Rescue will be closing effective October 1st.

We have been unable to find any person or organization who has the dedication or desire to continue the Rescue that Jamie exhibited every day that she was alive.

The Board would like to thank all of the volunteers and fosters who helped make Day One possible. We would especially like to thank Stella Adcock for single-handedly carrying on the Rescue for the last eight months.

And of course, without our donors, we would not have been able to even start. We thank them.

Nemo and Brinley wanted to remind everyone that the kitten adoption special is still happening. Cats and kittens are $25. 🐱All animals come up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick preventive, microchip and spay/neuter.

Also Nemo and Brinley said to tell everyone that they are both amazing pups and are still looking for their forever homes. 🐶

Sun’s out, tongue’s out!

Nemo (male, boxer mix 7 months old) and Brinley (female, lab mix, 4 months old) are looking for their forever families. These two cuties are with the same foster family. They love other dogs and do great with the cat in the home. They love to play with toys and Nemo loves the water! They are working on house training, love to sleep on the couch😴 and sit for their treats.
