Hello everyone, Paws and Claws had to take a small break and deal with some state paperwork and getting back to ourselves with a break. We are getting back to a normal schedule in June with some changes to how we are doing the run to Asheville. So here they are...

1. Most dogs will be going on the truck sent to take to ASPCA.
ALLL dogs will need to be in a HARD PLASTIC CRATE. To get the
correct size for yours....MEASURE your dog STANDING UP... top
of head to floor then chest to butt. ex: HEIGHT 23" X 28" LONG.

2. Crate loans for Dogs is $10. Cats are $5.

3. Some bigger dogs will still be self transport.

4. ANSWER THE TEXT MESSAGE. I send one message to see if
your pet still needs fixed? If you send a message back saying
"yes" your next message is dates available. Choose one and
you are placed in a slot for that date. When I send next
message it is to arrange finalization and payment to complete
the booking. (OUR NUMBER IS 828-317-7401)

IF YOU CANNOT TEXT me back you will receive one phone call
to talk to you about #4. IF YOU DO NOT ANSWER OR TEXT
ME...you will be removed from my waiting list after about 48
hours.

5. Times for drop off and pick up may change from one trip to
another so keep up with the times given.

We all look forward to getting your pet spayed or neutered.

For those scheduled 2/3 for cats spay neuter run we had to cancel due to weather and my driver cannot get out of her driveway since last week. I will be reaching out to you to reschedule. Thank you.

Good afternoon peeps!
Paws and Claws was offered a very special run for MCDOWELL COUNTY residents only on Dec 17th. They will pickup (7:15-7:45 am) DOGS only with Your HARD PLASTIC CARRIERS. They will bring them back on Thurs at 8:30am. Dogs must weight under 50lbs.

If you are interested I have only 2 female and 3 male spots left.

Please register on the spay neuter form on our page. Send a text to 828-317-7401 saying you want a spot. It is first come first gets if all criteria are met.

Good afternoon Everyone!
Just a little note that we had some phone issues lately and had to change our SIM card which lost alot of the text messages. So if I reach out to clarify it's just I lost the message.

Also we are not a facility only spay neuter program. We have a waiting list that the form is found under Good News pinned on our page. Once registered I reach out by text mostly and only when I am cleaning up the list or to book appts I have received.

Heard about this clinic in Asheville.

We are excited to host an Affordable Pet Care Clinic on February 12 from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. at 55 Adams Hill Road. Bring your pets for some key vaccinations and tests!

No appointments are required, and patients will be seen in the order in which they arrive. Services are FREE for Emma and Deaverview residents with proof of address (such as utility bill or ID). Flea/Tick prevention will be provided at no cost while supplies last!
