Harmony Coriddi, LVT, CMT, COCM, CAMadvocate Level 1, is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and a 2014 graduate of Equissage. She is a Fear Free Certified Professional and is a member of the IAAMB, IAAMT, and ABMP. in Veterinary Nursing through Colby Community College, and is currently pursuing continuing education in such areas as canine rehab, fitness, and osteoarthritis. itional training in canine osteoarthritis management, including the Canine Osteoarthritis Case Manager certificate through the University of Tennessee, and CAMadvocate Level 1, a course for canine professionals from the award-winning Canine Arthritis Management. In addition, Harmony is the CAM Education Coordinator at Canine Arthritis Management.

A tale of two Sullys...🐾

Yesterday was a fun day - not only did I get to meet an impeccably mannered, very sweet 8-month old Vizsla puppy, I also had a first in my 11-year career: working with two dogs on the same day that are the same breed and have the same name! Introducing Sully (brindle Boxer) and Sully (fawn Boxer)!

As a bonus, check out (brindle) Sully's impressive side eye! I don't think he quite believed me that there was another Boxer who shares his name! 🤭

On this , we wanted to highlight one of our new fitness clients, who had her initial evaluation earlier this week! Uriah is a very sweet 4 year old Boxer who was recently adopted by her wonderful new family. She needs some help with fixing muscle imbalances, building a strong core, and increasing her confidence, so she is starting a fitness program with us. She was an absolute star for her very first fitness lesson, and we can't wait to see her progress! She also had her second ever bodywork appointment after her fitness session, and I think it's fair to say she enjoyed it! 🐾💜

September is Animal Pain Awareness Month, and after a few tough cases in recent months, I've been thinking a lot about chronic undiagnosed pain, puzzling over how we can start to identify pain earlier in our pups. That feeling when you love your job...Just a couple clips of our Production Assistant helping out with filming a demo video for one of our canine fitness clients last night! Piccolo's two favorite things in life are food and sunshine (not necessarily in that order), but doing fitness training comes in a close third! 😍

Happy Canine Fitness Month! We're celebrating all the awesome ways fitness training can enhance your dog's life - from reduced injury risk and improved performance to today's topic: enrichment.

Whether your dog is a couch potato, a hiking partner, or a canine athlete who competes in sports, they can benefit from fitness training. All dogs love doing things with their owners, and fitness training is a great form of enrichment that engages both the body and the mind. Teaching your dog new skills and having fun with them can also help to strengthen your bond with your dog.

Fitness training is great for building confidence, too! Working on different types of equipment, learning skills in a safe and positive environment, and mastering new exercises can do a world of good for pups, no matter their background. As an example, a dog who participated in a fitness program with us went from being very shy and unsure the first couple of weeks to being confident and happy during fitness lessons just a few weeks later.
