Ole Chuck, better known as Charlie when he’s not being a do**us, sure has been enjoying the warm spring days outside exploring while I’m doing yard work. His favorite activity involves “bobbing for ice cubes”. He has been in the compost, digging after voles in the back yard, and tries to scoop ice cubes from his water bowl. Needless to say someone’s gonna need a bath tonight.

Happy Easter from our furry friends to yours. Not only do the human kids get Easter baskets, Zulu and Charlie have been enjoying their Easter surprises this morning with new Yak cheese chews and some sweet potato peanut butter treats. They’ve been missing their sweet sister Pebbles so some pup treats are sure to brighten their day.

2016… we adopted our sweet Pebbles Jane from Rusty’s Legacy. She was always the best girl and never gave us an ounce of trouble. She was sweet, but shy. She loved her people and always such a loyal family dog. She’s been getting up in age and definitely slowing down, and recently we had some discussions about never letting her suffer or get to a bad point but yesterday morning, she had just given all she had. On Friday we woke like most mornings, and when I went to let the dog crew out to potty she had passed peacefully, curled on her bed in our bedroom right where she wanted to be. Surrounded by the family who loved her, where she felt safe, and with her brother dogs. I will miss her happy feet dances she used to do, her rolling and sliding down the hill in the warm sun.. Rest well my sweet Pebbles. I’m sure my Daisy Mae was waiting over the Rainbow Bridge to greet her sweet sister friend. With life and love, death will come to us all. May we all hope for a peaceful passing as she had. It broke our hearts, yet I am so comforted in the way she left us.

It’s not always about the dogs! Some of my favorite clients include this beautiful kitty, koi in a gorgeous little pond and some freshwater aquarium fish. Not only pet sitting, I offer plant care, mail collection and any other reasonable requests by my clients.
