🚫💧 No Water at K9Acres Off-Leash Dog Park (Temporarily!) 💧🚫

Heads up, pup parents! K9Acres Dog Park (5200 Golf Course Road) will be without water until midday Friday. We know this is a bit of a hassle, and we appreciate your patience while this work gets done. 🐾

Looking for a spot with working water? Try one of our other dog parks:

Get ready to unleash the fun this summer as we unveil a new urban dog park in the Oak Hill Jackson neighborhood — near New Bohemia! Located at the intersection of 4th Street SE and 16th Avenue, this half acre pocket park will be a doggy delight with a fenced in grassy area, a patio with benches, and a drinking foundation with jug filler.

The park will provide a place for neighborhood residents and New Bohemia visitors to exercise their dogs and meet new paw pals. We are on the hunt for a name that is as “fetch” as the park itself. Post all your creative name ideas here or send them to [email protected] by February 14.

The dog park is a cooperative project between the City of Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation, Community Development and Public Works Departments and The Watts Group.
