City of Marion Animal Shelter will make every effort to promote pet adoptions of healthy, non-aggressive animals by the general public and by approved animal rescue organizations. To reduce the number of homeless pets, we will ensure that all dogs and cats are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, except those too young.

Meet sweet Lola, Lola was found in Saint John's Landing. She was scared and frighten. It took us a couple of days for her to trust us. She is a white shepherd mixed with love. I can't tell you how much she deserves a happy home. Her calm demeanor will make you fall in love. She knows how to sit and shake too! She is in foster care waiting for a happy home. She gets along with cats and dogs and is heartworm free.
