UPDATE: Rescued!!

One last CODE RED dog we want to reshare with you...Shambu, a 7 year old cattle dog/shepherd mix. This is girl is very loving, loyal and cooperative canine. She is friendly with other dogs, likes to play with them and toys. You may see the gray muzzle, that is only a sign of experience and smarts!! This girls still has lots of giddy up and go...pep in her step....but not too much...just the right amount for an easy going companion. She would be fantastic at leisurely daily walks, she is excellent on leash, nice manners and easy to take along. She really is very loving and desires someone to lavish her love on, but does not cross over into needy territory. Please share SHAMBU!!! She has so much to offer. She has been with us since September 18th and she must have a nice place to land. Someone will love her too.

If you would like to adopt Shambu, or any of our dogs and you already have a dog, please bring your dog with you to the shelter and our staff will facilitate dog to dog meetings for compatibility. This is a requirement.

Through December 14th, all dogs adoptions are $50. This includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations and microchip. Please chose to adopt responsibly.

Update (11/26/24): ADOPTED!!

Bordeaux is on day 104 and CODE RED!! We’ve shared him many, many times and the climate is just very hard for shepherds, huskies and other large dogs. This dog is special though and that’s why we are yelling and our voices are getting louder. Please share Bordeaux!!! Our longest resident. Please see his full profile link in comments. **Through December 14th all dog adoption fees are $50.

***If you want to adopt a dog and you already own a dog you need to please bring your dog to the shelter to do dog to dog meet & greet for compatibility.
