The 4th of July is almost here—which means fireworks, fun, and your pet wondering why the sky is exploding.
While we might enjoy the festivities, our furry friends are often not fans. Here’s how to help them stay safe, calm, and only mildly suspicious of your patriotic playlist:

Keep them indoors – Even if they’re used to being outside, fireworks can cause them to panic and run.

Lock the doors – They will try to move to Canada.

Create a calm space – Play soothing music or turn on the TV to drown out the noise.

Distract with toys & snacks – Anxiety? Never heard of her when there’s peanut butter around.

Update ID tags & microchips – Just in case they get out, make sure your info is current.

No fireworks shows – Crowds, noise, and flashes can be overwhelming.

Led by of , this donation-based class benefits and features 12 playful, adoptable puppies—rescued from the desert outside of Los Angeles and now ready to find their forever homes.

We loaded one devoted mama and her 12 little pups into our SUV, and made the long drive from Los Angeles to Victor, ID—where they were warmly welcomed by team at

Rescue isn’t just something we support — it’s who we are. Every one of our pups is a rescue, and they’ve inspired everything we do. Their resilience, joy, and unconditional love shape every product we design and every partnership we build.

From the beginning, we’ve made it our mission to work with and support incredible rescues across the country. Because every beast deserves a soft place to land, a warm bed, and a family that sees just how special they are.

These pups and their two incredible mamas were found in heartbreaking conditions inside a trailer in Barstow, California. No one knew which puppies belonged to which mom—but both mamas cared for all 16 as if they were their own.

When our friends at stepped in to rescue all 18 dogs, we jumped in to help with the next step. We connected with from loaded the entire crew—two moms and 16 puppies—into our SUV, and made the long 16-hour drive from Los Angeles to Victor, Idaho.

Somewhere in the middle, chaos struck: a full-blown diarrhea explosion in the backseat. Windows down, baby wipes out—it wasn’t pretty. But we made it.

Since then, they’ve been growing strong, loved, and healthy at the Puppy Palaces at Aska’s Animals. And now, they’re finally ready to find their forever homes. 🤍
