Life, Rescued. Episode 3.

Some dogs enter your life unexpectedly. Then somehow become part of every version of you that follows.

Episode 3 features filmmaker and creative director Adriaan Kirchner and his dog Maya, whose bond shaped more than a decade of life together in Los Angeles.

From his twenties into his thirties, Maya was there through all of it. New apartments. Career changes. Relationships. The uncertainty of growing up and building a life.

Over time, their relationship evolved from adventure and independence into the quieter rhythm of senior dog care, patience, and learning how to slow down together.

Filmed just before Maya’s passing in April 2026, this episode is a tribute to the dogs who shape us for life.

This is Life, Rescued.

Episode 3 premieres May 20 to celebrate National Rescue Dog Day.

That’s why we teamed up with .dogs, , and for a training session with Seal using First Light Farms treats as high value rewards while working with CCPDT-KA trainer Sam Diaz.

Playful yet respectful with other dogs, and adored by every person she has met, Seal is sure to be a wonderful addition to any home.”

Training is more than teaching commands. It builds confidence, trust, communication, and helps adoptable dogs like Seal feel more comfortable in new environments and future homes.
