Training young horses is one of the most rewarding and exciting jobs, and at the same time, it can be one of the most difficultโฆ because every horse is different. They think differently, learn differently, mature differently, and respond to training differently.

As they are learning, I'm learning right alongside them. I'm learning how they process information, what gives them confidence, what challenges them, and what approach translates easiest for that individual horse. ๐ช๐ถ๐๐ต ๐๐ผ๐๐ป๐ด ๐ต๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐บ๐ ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ท๐ผ๐ฏ is to figure out what each horse needs from me so I can build a foundation that gives them the best opportunity to succeed.
The most rewarding part comes when it finally clicks for that horse. When the pieces start coming together and they begin to understand their job. Watching a young horse gain confidence, develop through the process, and begin tapping into its highest potential is what makes training so rewarding.
Then one day, I get the opportunity to walk that same horse into the show pen. The horse that once needed time, patience, and guidance is now confident in its job and ready to show. Moments like that remind me why the foundation matters and why
