☀️ Hot Pavement Hurts Paws 🐾

On a warm day, asphalt can get 40–60°F hotter than the air. That means if it’s 85°F outside, the pavement could be over 130°F — hot enough to burn your dog’s paws in under a minute.

Quick tips to keep your dog safe:

• Walk early in the morning or after sunset
• Use the 7-second rule: If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
• Stick to grass and shaded paths
• Try dog booties or paw balm for extra protection
