Hello Friends of McDonald's Rooster -

Our handsome boy was indeed captured by a few folks in the neighborhood where he had been residing. I spoke to the gentleman who took the photo of him captured and he said the Rooster was given to a contractor that was working in the cul-de-sac at the time who had a farm and some hens. I asked for a photo of him in his new home but he hasn't responded with contact information of the new owner.
I hope that he is doing well.

I cannot thank you guys enough....what started as a funny page for my friends to see the photos I took of him grew into a big community of 141 people who cared about one Rooster! Thanks for your submitted photos, your tips of his whereabouts, and your nice comments about how wonderful he is.
I will miss him, as I know most of you will as well.

Thanks again! If I ever receive a photo of him in his new home, I won't hesitate to post it.
