Zannah is a beautiful 2-year old female Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler/Red Heeler mix) who was surrendered by her family on August 14, 2025 (her background story is included with this post).

Zannah has a uniquely-marked white short smooth coat with blue-and red-ticking, a long tail, and an adorable face with expressive brown eyes, a narrow/slender muzzle, and large semi-erect ears.

Nutmeg is a cute 2-year old female Beagle/Chihuahua mix who was brought to the HSOV on August 21, 2025 by a Good Samaritan who found her taking a stroll through the Frontier Shopping Center in Marietta (in the vicinity of the Giant Eagle Supermarket and McDonald's). Nutmeg was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped.

Gee is a handsome 10-month old male Labrador Retriever mix who came to the HSOV on August 15, 2025. This little guy had been left behind when his owner moved, and the family's landlord discovered him in the rental property all by himself .. So Gee was brought to the safety of our shelter where he is hoping to become someone's new best friend who will offer him a forever home.

Vi is a beautiful 10-week old female kitten who arrived at the HSOV on August 5, 2025 along with her sister (Jinx) after they were found on Clement Avenue in Belpre Ohio .. And apparently did not have a home or a mother in sight.

Vi has a dark brown short smooth coat in a spotted/striped tabby pattern, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes with white 'eyeliner', a tiny splash of white on her muzzle, a brown velvet nose, and long white whiskers

Jinx is a cute 10-week old female kitten who arrived at the HSOV on August 5, 2025 along with her sister (Vi) after they were found on Clement Avenue in Belpre Ohio .. And apparently did not have a home or a mother in sight.

Noah is a cute male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on May 23, 2025 along with his sister (Alllie) after they were found on Wynncrest Drive in Marietta Ohio fending for themselves. Noah and Allie were tiny 5-week old kittens at that time. Fortunately for these youngsters, their mother (Mary Allen) was located, and she was reunited with her babies on May 26th.
