Who of you remember our very first clinic cat, Juanita? She was "rescued" from our previous clinic at the time and brought to PWC for safe haven. Her adopter prior to us broke their adoption contract and had her declawed which was beyond infuriating. She was a senior when this barbaric procedure was performed on her and as a result of not wanting to navigate on her amputated toes, she was overweight so please do not make fun of her figure. We did our best to control her weight and chronic pain.

A favorite story about Juanita, she was a great forager, and used to work the toys, balls and eggs specifically, into a corner and spin them until they were empty! She was quite strategic about this, she knew very well what she was doing! Smart lady who liked her carbs!
