It was a Big day today! We had a ton of fun finishing our titles out for Rodeo Dog and earning novice Fetch titles at the same time! Parkersburg Obedience Training Club held a great event with none other than Cosmic K-9 (Libby Smith) ❤️ it was a wonderful mini family reunion too for the dogs!

In rodeo dog they did Clover (barrels) and Round up (barrels and tunnels)

Luna unfortunately missed the last trial so she did not get her titles yet in rodeo dog due to the last litter being days old but she earned 4 Qs
(2 first place and 2 second places) and her novice Fetch Title!

Terk earned both of his rodeo dog titles and 4 Qs ( 1 First place and 2 second places) and his novice Fetch title!

Capri earned both of her rodeo dog titles and 4 Qs ( 1 first place and 1 third place) and her novice Fetch title!

Jett ended up having an upset stomach and wasn’t feeling himself but still did great (I think I forgot to grab one of his title ribbons. We are getting confirmation on that) but for now (lol) he earned 1 rodeo dog title ribbon and 3 Qs ( 1 third place ribbon) and his novice fetch title!

Maizy Jo got to come play too! She earned both of her rodeo dog titles and 4 Qs (placements are unsure at the moment lol) and her novice fetch title! (Picture to come soon! She was sent home before that was done 😅)

Overall it was a great time with friends and furry ones! I am so proud of everyone ❤️❤️ Missy Barr Tessa Bills

We came, we saw, we made mistakes, we were successful, we had a blast, and we can’t wait to do it again!

This weekend was mostly for Capri and Luna but Terk and Maizy Jo got to do standard too!

Capri was showing off how much she had learned from Abbey Beasley these past few amazing months while Luna was out and for Luna getting back in the game!

Capri had a HUGE success earning 4 First place Qualifying runs and he Novice Standard Title!

Luna earned herself 2 Qualifying runs with a first place!

Terk got to run 2 standard runs (got his weave poles once! 😃)

Maizy Jo got to do 2 Standard runs for the first time ever in a Trial! She was brave and did amazing.

Create a bond with your dog that could never be broken by taking one of the many dog projects 4-H has to offer! From basic dog knowledge to performance dogs, there is a project for 4-H members of all ages.

Find us beside the Jr. Fair Building! Showtimes will be posted out front of the agility arena.

Final Results of our first ever Barn Hunt Trial!!

Terk- 1 qualifying run but still had a blast ~of course he had to distroy the course in some way by pushing a bale off the top of the tunnel 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

Capri- 3 qualifying runs earning her novice title! Plus a 3rd place ribbon!

Luna- 3 qualifying runs earning her novice title! Plus 2 3rd place ribbons!

Jett- 3 qualifying runs earning his novice title! Plus a 4th place ribbon, a 1st place ribbon, and a high in trial ribbon with a time of 24.78 seconds!

The best part about this trial in my opinion was the family reunion of more than half of the novice dogs being family!! The Windetta BC family showed up to represent with Luna, Terk, Capri, Tuff, Rowdy, Captain, Spicey, and Jett attending ❤️❤️What a fun weekend! Thankful for Missy Barr and Tessa Bills for inviting me to the trial and helping me through it!

Wanting to give a big thank you to the Churchtown Busy Bunch 4-H club for inviting us to join them as they went to Appletree assisted living in Beverly to do some crafts with the residents. We were able to entertain the residents with some of the tricks we know! Some of their favorite tricks were Terk jumping into my arms and playing dead and when Luna hugged Terk! The dogs were SO EXCITED that they couldn’t contain themselves and were almost barking the whole time and anticipating what tricks I was going to tell them to do. 😂 so typical of them, there was never any hesitation nor was there any surprises because they just went right into all of their tricks 🤦🏽‍♀️😂😂 The Club and residents were such a great audience!
