🦎 Happy Reptile Awareness Day! 🐍

Today we’re celebrating our scaly friends — Reptiles play a vital role in keeping our ecosystems balanced. They help control insect and rodent populations, support pollination and seed dispersal, and serve as an important part of the food chain for many other species. 🌿

Unfortunately, many reptiles face serious threats due to human activity — habitat destruction, pollution, climate change, the illegal pet trade, and road mortality all put these incredible creatures at risk.

By protecting their habitats, reducing pollution, and supporting ethical reptile care, we can help preserve the balance they bring to nature. 💚

What an honor to have been invited back to present for a THIRD YEAR in a row at our Belpre Homecoming Festival - Belpre, Ohio!!
We are so grateful for the opportunity to share with our community again!
We hope to see you all there AND at Jungle Jam Expo this coming May! We are extremely excited for things to come!

Good morning everyone!!
We are VERY desperate for some things at the shelter including some medications for some of our sick animals.
We are trying to raise money for Jafar to get his abscess tooth fixed but are VERY SHORT!
Unfortunately we haven’t had great luck raising money which is one of the reasons we had to close our public location.
I know it’s Christmas time and along side of struggling to make enough money for the animals through fundraising, I have been INCREDIBLY slow at the salon which is how I usually make up the difference.
We are desperate and are asking our community for help.
We have had ZERO adoptions and barely enough donations to help us with food.
I am not usually one to beg but I don’t know what we will do if we don’t start bringing in money soon!
I don’t want to shut down the rescue but it’s looking more and more like that’s what we’ll have to do every single day.
