New foal #5 was foaled April 24 another lovely bay filly for 1st time mother, Daruba Girl sired by Fire Power sired by The Ignitor a special horse for the owners of this little beauty, Brad & Julie Irvine. This is baby number 2 for them this year.

Updates:
IASPHA Spring Warmup show we had a good show with Bad Kisser owned by Geri Swiec in his first time out of the snaffle bit division into the Park Pleasure division and winning his qualifier as well as the Park Pleasure Championship shown by Stan Bodnar.
Our next was Shiny Allen Edmonds owned by Dorothy Spence Illson ended his first time showing by being named Reserve champion in the OTAB Training Class.
As usual IASPHA put on a very enjoyable show.

This one is owned and bred by Merriehill.
She is a long legged girl and we are looking forward to seeing her unfold.

Just found out that Merriehill Wish Me Well has named New England Morgan Horse Association Lesson Horse of the Year for Chris Cassenti. Quite a fitting honor for the guy - who is now 27 years young. He was foaled in 1998. Sired by Merriehill Chicagoan and out of PJM Noblette by Noble Command. He began his career winning the Two-Year Old Pleasure Driving Championships at Dixie Cup and Jubilee. As a three year old, he continued with victory passes under saddle and in harness at Prairie State Classic, North Star, Indiana Morgan Classic and Jubilee before heading east where he continued on in the Junior Exhibitor Classic Divsion for another decade and now continues teaching young riders. CONGRATULATIONS!

We have returned from the UPHA Conference in New Orleans, LA and our way too long in coming visit with Gaeton and Cindy Lorino, Cingate Morgan’s LLC in Alabama. We will not let so much time go by again.
The UPHA conference was outstanding from the Hotel Monteleone to the World War II Museum. It was so well planned, very informative and a great time getting see so many that I have not seen in a long time.
Stan and I were very proud and honored to be inducted into the AMHA Hall of Fame.
The Morgan horse has always been our first love and Stan and Paulette are thrilled that we, along with our family, have been able to make a lasting influence on our beloved breed.
