Sharing for a good client of mine!

This is Daisy a 3yr old female Pomsky (Pomeranian Husky mix). Daisy is looking to be rehomed to a family that'll best fit her needs. Daisy would do best in a home that will fit her energetic personality. They also believe she needs some training and are looking for someone that would be able to keep up with her energy and training. She has lived with both children and cats but does prefer women but will warm up to men with time and proper introductions. She has been around other dogs before but might do best as an only dog. She is currently not spayed and is up to date on vaccinations. Her current family is asking for a small rehoming fee to ensure she goes to a good home. She also comes with all her belongings.

🍓I'm currently booking out into May/June & my availability for the weekends is sparse. If you prefer a weekend appointment please reach out to book in advance. Just a reminder I can always groom before/after these times as well, shoot me a text or phone call and I can see what I can do!

🍓If you’d rather book appointments online I have that up and working again! I currently have it set to allow booking up to 2 months out. It will ask you to log in with your phone number & from there you can select your pet & service and what date/time works for you. Please note I currently have it set to existing clients only- if you are a new client please reach out and I’ll add you to my system! If you have any issues or questions please reach out!

I often get asked when a puppy should start the grooming process or start being groomed professionally. I’ll always say soon as it’s safe to! Once a puppy has their shots (normally around 16-18wks) and their immunity has built up enough it’s the best time to introduce a puppy to the grooming process if they haven’t been already. Dogs typically go through two “fear periods” throughout puppyhood, one 8-12 weeks and another 6-14 months. These are very normal stages of development. They will often become afraid of normal day to day things they’ve experienced; loud noises, boxes, doors, strangers etc. starting a puppy’s introduction to grooming early can set them up for success later down the road acclimating them to handling, reduces future anxiety, and ensures their safety. Which will prevent fear based behaviors making them more cooperative adults as they get older for not only the owner but groomers, veterinarians, trainers etc.

I’ve been grooming Riplee since I brought him home at 9wks old. A couple times a day i’d practice playing with his feet, ears, legs, and run a nail dremel along his legs and feet to acclimate him to the sounds and feelings of normal grooming tools and handling techniques. Now at almost 5 years old he’d rather take a nap while he gets his pedicure every week 😆
