To the motorcyclist that went by Wags this evening while a walk was being done, THANK YOU! Being a riding family we were taught in class that because some dogs go after bikes it is advisable to hit the clutch, go into neutral, and glide by. You did exactly that and let one of our lovely guests finish his business without a care. Thank you. May your kindness come back to you 10 fold! 🏍️ 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🐶

Good afternoon Wags family. It is with so much sadness that I let you know that our girl, Lola, passed away yesterday. She was 15. Lola came to us from our dear friends June and Rob Stahl shortly after we opened Wags, and she immediately became an invaluable part of our little motel. Lola became best friends with a number of our guests, a partner in crime, a quiet calming presence, a playmate.
Lola and Wiley were inseparable. I like to think, in fact I’m sure, that he was waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge when she crossed.
I must send out a HUGE thank you to Veterinary Medical Center of CNY on Bridge Street in East Syracuse and Dr. Jennifer Bailey DVM for the amazing compassion and care that Lola, and Carm and I, received. They made an unbearable situation bearable. I cannot express enough how great they ALL were.
Lola, my Lola. I already miss you so much! Our home is so quiet without your barking at phantom sounds, your “piggy noises”, your snoring. You were the best big sister to Clark and Rousey, cousin to Dexter and Bidgie, and James Franco.
I hate that you aren’t here, my heart is breaking, but I know I will hold you again. Wag easy my girl. I will love you forever.

From Governor Hochul’s office;
“To Protect the Health of New Yorkers, Businesses and Venues Must Implement a Mask Requirement or Require Proof of Fully Vaccinated Status”. We have no intention to ask to see your vaccination card. We do however, require you to mask up before entering our business. We care about your health. We care about our health as some of us have compromised immunity, small children and aged grandparents we would like to enjoy time with. We also do not want to be fined for noncompliance.
