Update on Snow Princess: Snow had her annual checkup at Jackpot recently. She is doing great. Her Valley Fever finally negative. Glucose level in good control. Her weight normal. She is the most joyful dog. She just loves everyone and everything. She is always ready to help outside, ride in the car or eat! Lol. She is such an angel. And sleep. She loves to nap on top of her long suffering brother, Elvis.

This is Sam-mule. Approximately 7 years old. He is a sweet boy but not trained by his owner due to health issues. Thank you to Dr. Karla Lombana of Jackpot Veterinarian for coming out to vet, immunize and neuter him this week. He will be available for adoption soon. We want to place him in a mule savvy home. He is delightful.

Tonight we lost our beloved General Scrappy. We only had him for a month. It was a month full of love, cuddles, great food and the sun on his shoulders. He was a strong, loving, amazing soul. We so wish that we had more time with him. He became a member of our family overnight. 17 years old. Surrendered by his owners to PACC for euthanasia. Instead he died in our arms, Amazing Grace playing. We will miss this spunky brave boy forever.

For those of you who remember Snow Princess I am not going to share the unimaginable. She needs to lose a little bit of weight. Dr. Lombana calls it being over rescued. Her spirit is unimaginably strong. She has overcome emaciation, diabetes, valley fever, glaucoma and breast cancer. This is our princess now!

We are sad to say that Craig Lewis died today. He was in our arms. He was the bravest little dog. Came to us with Heartworm, Valley Fever. Sadly all heroic measures failed to save him. Thank you Lauren Thomas at Jackpot Veterinary and your lovely staff for working so hard with us to save him. I will miss him every day. Mike will also. He was our brave little man.
