For dogs who stay with us shorter term & for whom we are a "bridge" they become adoptable once medical needs are addressed.

A couple more adoptions from yesterday!

Sweet Lidda came to us from Yuma a couple of weeks ago and turned out to be the best little girl. She caught the eye of one of our past adopters and last night was the night! She will go home to little Jojo who they adopted about 18 months ago plus another friend they had before. We know she is going to be loved to the moon

A couple more adoptions to celebrate!

First up is Delilah who spent barely a week in the rescue. Her new pawrents met her last night and knew she was meant to be theirs! They are true dog lovers and she will get so much love and tons of fun just like every puppy deserves!

We also said happy tails to sweet shy Bianca/Sandy/Honey Bee! She made progress in her foster home and we knew that she would take a bit of time to adjust to her forever home and so did her new dads. She will have a little 4 legged friend to play with and will definitely get the very best life.

Welp we did it again....some of you probably remember Frank (the kitten) from about 6 months ago. Over the past week we were keeping an eye on 3 at risk kittens at AHS.

This morning we got the call that Bunny was going to be euthanized within 24 hours for severe luxating patella. We had a couple of fosters step up so we said "why not"....yes we mainly take seniors, and mainly take dogs but if we can help we always will. So welcome Bunny and Cheez-It (who likely has Cerebella Hypoplasia)...so we will get them started on their medical this week and provide them the best life we can

DRUMROLL PLEASE! One of our observant friends and followers noticed that T-Bone was not on the lineup today and here is WHY! After 303 days in the rescue our good boy found his own! He met his new pawrents (prior adopters) last weekend and they came for him today! He knew that he got "picked" ....we are so happy for everyone!

Sweet Barkley (Basil from MCACC) is finally turning a corner. He is eating multiple small meals a day and has not vomited in the past few days and is back to drinking water on his own. He had a very RUFF recovery but appreciates all the support from those who donated toward his surgery and then his following hospital stay!

Our new intake for today and of course as is usual she has quite a long list of medical concerns (chronic ear infections, dry eye and corneal ulcers, poor dental condition and severe allergies).

We will get sweet Lady all fixed up and we are sure that there is someone out there who will want to provide her a forever where she is cherished and cared for! (but she is not ready yet!)
