One of the amazing things about being a campground host is meeting people from all over the world and hearing their stories.
Every tag you see is someone that has stayed with us and where they are from. Travelers seeing the US for the first time, some seeing a new part of the country, some just getting away for the weekend
We had a birthday campout for a teen and her friends, a couple traveling from Texas to see the west, a girl from North Carolina visiting all the state parks on a grant from college to record herself playing her flute at sunrise or sunset. And a couple just needing to get away and the husband surprising his wife with a romantic evening.
Lots of stories, memories, and adventures.

Come and make one for yourself and share this so more people can make memories too.

It's beautiful out here. Nice breeze. Cool temp. Peaceful. Great for a test run with kids. A get away for the night(we are close enough but just far enough from the city)

We have heard that a lot of campgrounds around Tucson are closed. Crazy.

Well we are open!!!

Come stay with us. The weather is amazing (for Tucson standards) 90's during the day and 60's at night. Perfect for roasting marshmellows!

It was so nice to have some rain. Just a teaser for the upcoming monsoon season. If you want to stay with us there are options to be dry. It's a beautiful sight when it rains.

Welcome back to The Cannonball bunkhouse. New location, updated interior. New deck.

The bunkhouse now has a roll down shade sail for the afternoon sun AND it has air-conditioning inside. Perfect for the warm days of summer.
