My name is Ally, the newest staff member at the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. As many of you are aware dogs are used in many lines of work and therapy dogs at funeral homes are no different. We love unconditionally and provide a sense of comfort that humans sometimes can't. When my training is complete, I will be at the funeral home most days and will be on hand to comfort famili

es upon approval when requested. I will wear a vest and will be available at funerals, gatherings, arrangement/family conferences etc. Making appearances at nursing and retirement homes, schools, hospitals and more will also be a part of my responsibilities. Please stop by and say hi to me and look for me around town. I love getting to know new people and making forever friends.

Happy 12th Birthday to our sweet Ally - The Therapy Dog! The last year has not been the easiest for you with two cancer surgeries but you have amazed us and fought through it all and still love and want to go to work each day of the week. In fact you take me to work! If we were commuting you would be the driver as you lead the way and know the route better than anyone! We are so thankful for you and the special comfort you have given to so many throughout the years. Today is unlimited treat day as we celebrate you! Carson Celebration of Life Center
