Sauerkraut, beans, seasoned tofu, avocado, organic tortilla, grassfed cheese…. My rule… add as many fruits & vegetables in I can get everyday. While making this, I had sugar snap peas. I think food should taste good, be simplified, and healthy. I choose not to eat meat for several reasons, which can be a challenge when I go out of my home. The key is loving what you eat & knowing it’s giving your body its ultimate health. Love yourself ✌️💛

Health is a daily decision. There are days I don’t want to get on my treadmill or go outside and walk. There are days we are out at ballgames many hours and I have a choice of eating junk or waiting a little longer to put something healthy in my body. And believe me…. When I get hungry, I want to eat things I normally wouldn’t, and sometimes do. I try and be prepared for things but life happens. It’s not the random moments that matter, it’s the things you do consistently that add up. Daily intermittent fasting 16-18 hours a day, once a month longer fasts. These are what I consider the top things I can do for my body. Detoxing. The older you get and the longer you’re on this earth, the more toxins that can build up and affect how your body functions and how you feel. Getting a good electrolyte daily to get hydration to my cells is my second top priority. Your mental/emotional however you want to term it is for sure on the top of my list of importance. Yin yoga, meditation, thankfulness, thankful journal, taking the time to show up for yourself however that looks for you. You matter and loving yourself is priority not just for you because you matter but that then filters down through all of your life, the people in your life. And when you show up as your best self, you give a gift to yourself and the world. Nourish your body & soul. ✌️💛
