Perfect all-a-rounder to have in your program. Fox Hunting, Jumpers (could do hunters or Eq with some polishing), Eventing or Dressage. Owner is moving overseas and would love for him to find his new family.

His changes still need some finishing but are there. One thing we love about him is that he is happy to pack around beginner kiddos/adults through small advanced amateur kiddos/adults in any activity. He is proficient in training level dressage and schooling 1st level like a dream. He has fox hunted on the East Coast. He has also dabbled in the Hunter and Jumper rings on the East Coast both NJ and FL From 2’-2’6” Hunter classes and .70-.95 Jumpers. Clips, loads, stands for the farrier and vet. Perfect addition to any family, ammy in a program, young professional or school program.

ISO Working Student at Competitive Stable

Windamawr Stables is looking for a full-time, live-in working student. We are a Hunter/Jumper/Dressage Equestrian Center in Independence, MN that offers Boarding, Training, and Showing with an amazing group of clients.

Our ideal candidate has general horse care and grooming/tacking knowledge. Dressage and Jumping experience is a bonus. Depending on your experience level, you will help with everything from tacking/untacking, assisting the farrier/vet/therapy appointments, barn chores, warming up/cooling down horses in training, tack cleaning to schooling horses at home or at shows.

Room & board as well as weekly stipend included. Additional earning opportunities are available.

We will also offer you a BHS level of education in barn management, primary veterinary care, holistic horse care, as well as the opportunity to ride a lot of really nice show ponies!

Please note: We are hoping to find someone for a year at minimum.
