It’s been a good week on the farm. I started my first hugelkultur garden, okra is coming in daily, corn is fattening up, a chocolate sunflower bloomed, I lost then found my anniversary ring, and it’s time to think about selling a few beautiful birds. Baby chicks are growing and a broody mama is on 4 viable Serama eggs. Life on the Farm is amazing 🥰

Baby #2 much bigger than #1. #2 weighed in at 14 grams a few hours of hatching. #1 @ 3 days old weighed in at 13 grams today. Interesting 🧐

Man, that was a great trip. Matagorda had grown by leaps and bounds since our last visit, but the sunsets were just as beautiful as we remembered.
