Are you passionate about animal welfare and looking to make a real difference in your community? We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and dedicated Full-Time Animal Care Technician to join our hardworking team. This role is vital to the daily care and well-being of the cats and dogs in our shelter.

Key Responsibilities:
•Feed and provide fresh water to animals
•Clean and sanitize kennels and living spaces
•Monitor animal health and behavior
•Assist the public with adoptions and volunteer coordination
•Provide enrichment activities and socialization for animals in our care

Requirements:
•Must be 18 years of age or older
•Comfortable working directly with cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments
•Team-oriented, dependable, and genuinely passionate about helping animals

This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to positively impact the lives of homeless animals every single day. Our team works tirelessly to ensure every animal feels loved and cared for while they wait for their forever home.

Aaaand that's a wrap! Thanks to all of our A-MAZING vendors & makers & guests & patrons who made yesterday's Soundside Summer Market Series finale a complete and total success. What an amazing way to send off our Summer Market Series, with one of our biggest & best markets of the summer! 🔥
AAAAND what better way to celebrate than to 'officially' announce that we're doing an ENCORE! That's right, we haven't had enough, we're gonna hit the stage one last time before we completely close this summer 2025 chapter for our Soundside Labor Day Weekend Market. We've so thoroughly enjoyed this summer and simply don't want it to end. There’s no better way to celebrate than by sharing some of our adorable—and adoptable—faces! We truly have some of the BEST dogs just waiting to meet you.

They make us excited to come to work every day, keep us laughing with their goofy personalities, and have been there for us during the long, hard hours when we weren’t sure we could keep going—but they needed us, so we did.

Now, they’re ready to be there for you. We know they’ll make amazing companions, and we’re honored to be a small part of their journey to a forever home.
