🎪🐾 A little throwback to a BIG night for the animals!

Last year, more than 200 of our friends and supporters came together for Stand-Up for Strays, and together, we raised over $35,000 for the animals of Dare County. ❤️

There was laughter, great food, an amazing silent auction, and plenty of puppy and kitty love. 🐶🐱

Now, it’s time to do it all again!

These two puppies were found abandoned at the Manns Harbor intersection and now that their hold is up with unfortunately no information as to who/where they came from, they are ready to individually find the forever home they deserve! The tan is a male and the grey is a female. If you are interested in adopting please come by. They are in the lobby excited to meet you! 🐶🐾🦴🥹

The Outer Banks SPCA’s largest benefit of the year, Stand-Up for Strays, is back! Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring:

😹A hilarious show with comedian Steven Rogers (as seen on Nateland with specials produced by Nate Bargatze & Brian Regan!)
🍴A lovely catered dinner by Black Pelican, plus beer, wine and a signature cocktail.

That’s a wrap on our August Rescue Effect adoptions!!🧡🐾

Thanks to our partnership with ASPCA 50% off adoption fees during 2 weeks of August meant that 18 of our shelter residents left us to start fresh in their new homes with tails wagging and happy purrs! We are so grateful to everyone who welcomed home a furry friend during these two weeks; you freed up critical space to rescue even more pets in need🧡

🐾 KITTEN FOOD NEEDED! 🐾

The kittens at the Outer Banks SPCA are hungry, and we need our amazing community’s help! 💕🐱

We are HIGH on kittens and LOW on food, especially wet and dry kitten food. With so many little mouths to feed, our supplies are going quickly!

If you’re able to donate a can, a bag, or even a case of kitten food, it would make a HUGE difference for the kittens in our care. Every donation helps us keep these little babies happy, healthy, and growing strong. 🥰
