Hi, my name is Cali and I have been searching for my fur-ever home for over a year now :( My foster family adores me and I have sooo many friends here. I admit, I get a little scared when meeting new people and I bark. I may sound mean, but I promise, I am 100% lovebug!! Most women I warm up to quickly. It takes me longer to trust men. My foster mom thinks that a man may have been mean to me at some point, but once I trust you, I will love you forever! I lay in my foster dad's lap all of the time and give him kisses every day. I LOVE kids!!!! Like I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They are the bestest things ever!!! I am very protective over kids as well, especially at night. I snuggle right up next to my foster girls and keep watch all night. I was very afraid of the pool, but one time I thought my girls were in trouble and I dove right in and tried to pull them out. Turns out they can swim, but I did not know that at the time lol. My best friend here is a younger playful cattle dog. Her and I run all over and when I say play, we PLAY!! We play pretty rough but because she is so young and fun, it is all good. There are a lot of outdoor cats and chickens here too. They can all walk right up and nuzzle on me. They only time I get scolded is when they trick me into playing it. I'm it. They run away. I chase them. And then I get yelled at. I don't get it. But I listen really well. I am completely housebroken and kennel trained.
Honestly I am absolutely amazing if someone would just give me the time that I need to trust and adjust. Will you be that person???
