I can count on one hand the amount of dogs that are off leash here while outside the fenced areas and two of those are my personal dogs. Nola got that privilege only because I’ve known her for years before boarding her and she listens to me every single time I ask for a recall.

A couple other things we do for safety is always feeding in crates so there is no competition when it comes to food. Taking collars off during playtime ( ) and having double barriers to our exterior doors to prevent escapees. We are also very cognizant of which toys we offer; there’s no raw hide or super hard bone chews, no rope toys unless being supervised during a game of tug, and we make sure toys are appropriately sized for your dogs.

While we want your dog to have a great time while they stay here, our first priority is safety!

🐾 It’s our anniversary 🐾

One year ago today, I quit my corporate job in accounting. The company I worked for had shorted me a lot of PTO (even after proof of the programming error had refused to correct), unwilling to put in my annual raise after a stellar review and I was tired. I was raised to have so much job pride that I was running myself down, doing the job of three people and saving them millions every year, for a national company that didn’t even know my name.

So I decided to work for myself and it has been the best decision I’ve ever made! I love meeting and working with all the pets and their owners! Here’s to many more anniversaries of doing what I love!
