Triple Creek Eventing is looking for a groom or working student
Owner and trainer Mary Bess Davis has brought numerous horses through the upper levels of eventing including multiple horses to the Advanced/CCI****level. She prides herself on working with a variety of horses and students. We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented individual who is hardworking, motivated, and reliable. The ideal candidate should have an upbeat personality and a willingness to learn along with being a self-starter. Duties include but are not limited to: stall cleaning, feeding, turnout, grooming at home and at horse shows, tacking, cleaning tack, exercise riding, and assisting with providing exceptional care to sport horses. The capability of driving a horse trailer, general medical care, wrapping, and body clipping are bonuses but not necessary. Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license. This position is 6 days a week and we are looking for a year commitment. You will be provided housing, board for one horse, 2 weekly lessons, coaching at events, and a small stipend. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to learn about the industry while improving their riding! The farm is located in Mansfield, GA and we are in close proximity to area horse trials: Chattahoochee Hills, Poplar Place, and Aiken, SC.
