Our friends at Second Chance Dog Rescue Mansfield could use some extra love and attention. If y’all have some free time fill out the volunteer form and swing by to help the pups for a bit.

🆘🆘 WE NEED SOME
EXTRA HANDS RIGHT NOW! 🆘🆘

Friends, in just the last two weeks, we have taken in 17 new dogs. That is an astronomical number for our small rescue, and right now we really need some additional help.

We are specifically looking for
SHORT-TERM VOLUNTEERS
18 YEARS AND OLDER. You do not have to make a long-term commitment. If you can help us for the next few weeks, even one hour once a week, we would be incredibly grateful.

🐶 WE NEED “PUPPY FRIENDS!”

We have six older puppies who desperately need more individual attention.

If you’re a trainer, have some dog experience, or simply feel comfortable working hands-on with puppies, we would love for you to come spend time with them.

You can:

* Work on basic manners and leash skills
* Brush or bathe them
* Practice handling and touching their feet
* Socialize them
* Play with them
* Or simply give them some one-on-one attention ❤️

❤️ WE ALSO HAVE
SIX VERY FEARFUL PUPPIES

We recently took in another litter of six extremely under-socialized puppies.

They will allow us to touch and interact with them, but they are still absolutely terrified.

For these babies, we need patient people willing to simply sit inside their kennel with them.

Pet them.
Brush them.
Touch their little paws.
Offer treats.
Talk softly to them.
Whisper sweet things to them. ❤️

They need to learn that people can be kind and that they are finally safe.

🕐 COME FOR AN HOUR OR STAY THE WHOLE SHIFT!

Morning volunteer hours:
☀️ 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Come anytime during that window. Stay one hour, two hours, or the entire shift. Whatever works for you!

Evening volunteer hours:
🌙 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

And remember, we currently have approximately 40 dogs on site, so if puppies aren’t your thing, we still desperately need help!

🐾 Walk dogs
🧺 Help with laundry
🐶 Socialize dogs
🧹 Help around the rescue
❤️ Give a dog some much-needed individual attention

You must be 18 or older to volunteer.

If you know someone who loves animals but has never wanted to make a long-term volunteer commitment,
