To our Long Island Equine Community in an effort to be transparent and keep everyone in the community informed we are currently under quarantine for a single case of Strangles. We are in constant contact with the state vet as well as the vet attending this case. We are taking all precautions and proper quarantine protocols to minimize any potential spread. Our main goal is to protect our horses and we are doing everything we can to ensure that.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT | HORSE SHOW POSTPONEMENT

Out of an abundance of caution, Hidden Pond Stables has made the decision to postpone our horse show scheduled for Sunday, October 25th, following the recent confirmed diagnosis of Equine Herpesvirus (EHV-1) on Long Island.

We want to reassure our boarders and exhibitors that there have been no known exposures involving horses at Hidden Pond Stables. This decision is strictly precautionary and reflects our commitment to protecting the health and well-being of our horses and the greater Long Island equestrian community.

While we were looking forward to welcoming everyone for our final show of the season, we believe limiting unnecessary horse travel and contact is the most responsible decision at this time.

We sincerely appreciate everyone's understanding and continued support.

A rescheduled show date will be announced soon.
