Most that know me, my family, know Mackenzie’s old jumper Angel of Harlem! He’s a fabulous teacher, heart of gold guy. Anyone that has ridden him, loves him.
His current owner is focusing on family and is highly motivated to rehome Harlem. If your interested, shoot me a message and I will give you the details.
The last year we leased him, he was Champion at pretty much every show our rider took him to in the Modified Child/Adult Jumpers, including Traverse City.

Fully capable of a few more years of showing. Has even shown in the 2’6” hunters and equitation with a soft rider and was last leased to an amateur and for experienced riders in our lesson program.

Adorable medium German Sport Pony! A great pony to start on and take you all the way to division. Has been in a dressage program for past few years, still has all the auto buttons to go back in the hunter ring. He’s a steal!

What a fun weekend we all had in Taylor at Trinity Hill’s second CTHJA show of the year!
All the horses were fabulous and our riders did an amazing job. It’s going to be a great year for everyone of our riders showing on the CTHJA Circuit!

Anna Kate Duwall and Angel of Harlem started our first day off with a bang, winning the Beginner Eq o/f, clinching a Reserve Champion in the division. The pair moved up to the Modified Child/Adult Division placing 3rd in several of their classes. AK also did her first medal with a beautiful trip!

Trainer, Lacy Hudson, rode her daughter’s young hunter Champagne Papi MH to Champion in the Green Hunters and Reserve Champion in the High Low Hunters. The duo won four of their six classes, placing second in the other two!

We were so excited to have White Fences Eq purchase Chesney recently and couldn’t wait to get him back in the show ring where he belongs! Madison Marchand not only got to show him, but moved up into the 2’ and 2’3” hunters on him, placing quite well in the larger divisions. She placed 3rd and 4th in the majority of her classes!

Jackie Wilson and La dolce Vita had a great show with top ribbons in the YNP and High Low Divisions, but finishing up Reserve Champion in the Jr /Adult Division after winning Sundays over fences class!

Abazu BSM and Kinsley Ruskin joined the group of hunters to keep up their hard work in the show ring. Kinsley had some beautiful trips, placing well, including stepping into the equitation ring on Abazu. Can’t wait to watch this pair blossom!!

While Lacy & Mackenzie were Katy at the Pin Oak Charity Horse Show, Caitlin took two special young riders to the CTHJA Trinity Hill Horse Show in Taylor.
It was a great first show for so many reasons for these young riders!

Madison Marchand showed White Fences Equestrian Center’s precious young pony Tanner and almost swept the Special Beginner & Verticals Divisions! Both Tanner and Madison have been working hard all winter to prepare for Tanner’s first horse show. We could not be more excited for the future of this precious pony!

Jr Rider Anna Kate Duewall accomplished so many great things during this show, she might not even understand! AK has trained so intensely over the past several months, competing on the IEA “Salado Elite Riders”team (qualifying for Zone Finals and placing well her first year doing so!), traveling in and out of town, so as to not miss a lesson!
She challenged herself, deciding to take a Low Child/Adult Jumper to the show, to show for the first time at a recognized show in both the 2’ and 2’6” hunter divisions. Not only did she step up from the cross rail and vertical divisions, but she walked into the 2’6” Modified Eq Division and put in a flawless equitation trip, on what is usually the fastest horse in the class, placing 2nd! AK’s work ethic and enthusiasm inspire all of us at Empire Acres!
