Hunting Homes Wanted!!! Ewoldt's Locked On Kennels has pups available from an excellent repeat breeding!!! Jema and Clyde had 10 healthy pups back on March 30th. There are 6 females and 4 males. I have 3 female deposits in and 2 for the males. These pups will be excellent hunters with a SHUTOFF switch!!! Both parents are excellent hunters with a calm demeanor. Pups will be UTD on shots and dewormer. Please contact me with any questions!!! Pups are ready Memorial Day weekend or I can hold them until after the busy holiday weekend. Jema and Clyde puppies are doing great! They will be 4 weeks old tomorrow.They have really discovered there legs and are starting to explore. This was a planned repeat breeding, I have had lots of really strong reviews for hunting ,paired with a good demeanor. The litter was split with 6 females and 4 males. I currently have 5 deposits in. That's a wrap on the 2025 hunting season!! The dogs and I made it home from Oklahoma quail hunting on Saturday. We had tremendous dog work all year it started with a great tune up for the dogs at Docs Hunt Club with TIO. True Impact Outdoors puts on hunts for veterans and I am honored to run my dogs for them!! Iowa's season started off strong with the Hauser family. Shortly after Iowa opener Rod and I took off for North Dakota, wow do they have birds. It was alot of fun chasing 3 different species up there. Iowa season finished strong on January 10th. The dogs and I took a couple weeks off before making our first trip to Oklahoma to quail hunt. What a different world down there, no creeks or waterways just endless pasture ground full of cover. It's the first time I have tracked myself on OnX so I could tell where I had been. It's truly drop the dogs out there and follow them!!! Please enjoy some of the photos from the year and keep an eye on my page. Jema will be expecting pups in early April from Clyde!!! Iowa season is over we had an incredible year!!! Lots of excellent dog work , lots of memories made!. Dogs get a 12 day rest then off to Oklahoma to chase my favorite birds, Bobwhite Quail!!!

Thanksgiving limit with my lucky charm Piper!!! What a week it has been with her hunting!!! I was able to shoot a mature 10 point buck with my bow while Piper was in the stand with me and a limit today!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!

Season has started off great in Iowa, but this week I loaded up the dogs and went to North Dakota to chase pheasants, Hungarian Partridge and grouse. This trip was setup by a gentleman that has two pups from me over the last four years. He lives in Illinois and said meet me in ND to chase birds!!! It was a pleasure to meet up with him and his friends and join in on the hunt. North Dakota has BIRDS!!!! Roosters everywhere, coveys of huns were plentiful, the grouse eluded us but we did see them!!! Excellent dog work all around, enjoy the few photos we had time to snap!!

Wow the dogs have earned a rest!!! Friends and family have been coming to bird hunt near Veterans weekend for about 6 years. We had guys from Kansas, Texas and Wisconsin. The weather was wild these last three days. Friday we shot a 6 man limit by noon with sunny and 55 degrees. Saturday we woke up to rain soaked conditions, managed 5 with a few bonus quail. Sunday morning we had 20 degrees with wind, managed 7 birds before 930. At 930 we went to a friend's farm who host True Impact Outdoors, a group of volunteers who get Veterans out hunting on planted birds. This is a complete honor for me to run my dogs and give back to the men and woman who serve. Thank you to all the Veterans out there!!!! Please enjoy pictures and videos from the TIO hunt and the weekend. With roughly 50 miles on the dogs in three days its time to shut them down until Thursday when we head to North Dakota!!!!
